Hi, I’m Kate! I’m so glad you’re here and excited to share a little about myself and my passion for photography and ultrasound imaging. My creative journey began in a darkroom back in high school, where I fell in love with the art of photography. I continued nurturing that passion through photography classes at Purdue University and feel incredibly blessed to have turned it into a career that brings me so much joy!
Beyond my work, my heart belongs to my family. I’ve been married to my wonderful husband, Derrick, for 18 amazing years, and together we have four incredible kids—Lennox (11), Anora (7), Kohen (6), and Finneas (3). They are my world, and I understand firsthand how precious and fleeting these moments with our little ones are.
When it comes to photography, I embrace a hybrid style, blending posed portraits with natural, candid moments. I love capturing the sweet giggles, playful tickles, and quiet in-between moments, just as much as the perfectly composed shots. As a fellow mama, I know how overwhelming it can feel to plan a session, and my goal is to make the process as easy and stress-free as possible. From booking and styling to the session itself, I’ll be there to guide you every step of the way, ensuring you feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful.
